Mobile Legends is considered as an action real-time strategy (ARTS) game, is a genre of strategy video games that originated as a subgenre of a Real time strategy game, where a player controls a single character in one of the two teams. The objective of the game is to destroy the opposing team’s main structures especially the nexus, kill enemy heroes, and defend your base with the assistance of periodically spawned AI units or minions who fight forward with you along the set paths.

The interesting part with Mobile Legends is that you can buy your equipment even without going back to your fountain, and you don’t need to buy potion as you had a spell called regen which will heal you health point for some time. This is a fast paced game, where on one run you only need at least 10-20 minutes play to win or lose.
If you are attached to PC MOBA like DOTA 2, LoL, HoN, SMITE or Heroes of the Storm, you might had a hard time adapting to mobile MOBA game especially Mobile Legends. But if you enjoyed playing Mobile Legends, you surely love it. Aside from its quick gameplay which will save your precious time, it is also portable because you can play it anytime anywhere with your android or iOS phone, just be sure have a good signal reception of 3G/4G/LTE to experience smooth gaming.

This Mobile Legends guide is intended for newbies or starters, or even advanced players who are looking for some information. To familiarize Mobile Legends, it is important to know every single details of the game, its different game modes, the heroes, skins, emblems, abilities and gears which will help you survive all the way.
Game Modes
Mobile Legends has five different game modes:
1. Match Up Mode – Player vs Player 5v5 (Casual Gameplay), Trilane map.
2. Ranked Game – Same as Match up but competing for Ranks (Warrior, Elite, Master, Grandmaster, Epic, Legend, Glorious Legend), Trilane map.
3. Brawl Mode – 5v5 PvP fight with Random Choice of Characters, Single lane map.
4. Human vs. AI – 5 players vs 5 AIs depending on Difficulty, Mode, + you will need to invite 4 others to get started. (or leap of faith by finding 4 others by random), Trilane map.
5. Custom Mode – 1 vs 1+, this mode is Human vs. AI but you can play alone and have up to 1-5 AIs against you.
Match Up Mode and Human vs. AI are already available after the tutorial while you can unlock the Brawl Mode at level 3, Ranked Game at level 6, and Custom Mode at level 7.
Heroes
There are 46 heroes currently available which you can choose from right now in the game, and these are the following: Akai, Alice, Alpha, Alucard, Argus, Aurora, Balmond, Bane, Bruno, Chou, Clint, Cyclops, Estes, Eudora, Fanny, Franco, Freya, Gatotkaca, Gord, Grock, Harley, Hayabusa, Hilda, Irithel, Johnson, Kagura, Karina, Karrie, Lapu-lapu, Layla, Lolita, Minotaur, Miya, Moskov, Nana, Natalia, Odette, Rafaela, Roger, Ruby, Saber, Sun Wukong, Tigreal, Vexana, Yi Sun-Shin and Yun Zhao.
Most of the heroes are available through either buying them using in-game credits or real money (converted to Diamonds). These 46 heroes are categorized into 6 different roles: fighter, tank, mage, assassin, marksman and support.
Heroes of Rotation or Weekly Free Heroes. At the beginning you’re given a few heroes for free then after that you have to obtain them through currency (diamonds). But putting the thought of currency (diamonds) aside you can still play decently as some of the heroes through the hero rotation. Every week a new group of heroes becomes free for you to play until the week is up.
Skins
You can buy hero skins in the shop using diamonds (thru Codashop, Top-up Mobile Legends, Buy diamonds for Philippines and pay using Globe, Smart/Sun, 7-Eleven, GCash, ATM/Bank Transfer and Abra). You can also get free diamonds in Mobile Legends using freenet app. Skins will give you extra stats and buffs which leads the game to becoming a pay to win, which most players don’t like. If you opt not to spend money, just collect battle points by doing dailies with rewards and aim for win in every game to earn more battle points.
Emblems, Abilities and Gears
You can personally customize, craft and arrange your emblems, abilities and gears based on your preference. This will give you instant buffs and extra stats depending on what will suit your role and game play.
Emblems are used to enhance your hero depending on your role.
Abilities are special spells which you can use for survivability.
Gears are just a list of recommended equipment sets for each hero which you can also change depending on your role.
You can buy or collect the materials that you need to level up your emblems.
Basic Info
In your basic information, there’s a profile detail including your region, username, rank, title, recently received heroes and skins. Other tabs include fight info, favorite heroes, past results, credit score and replays. This will help the player track their records and watch their improvements.
